Frequently asked questions
How is CGST, SGST and IGST decided?
If your state and the place of supply are the same, tax is split equally into CGST and SGST (UTGST for union territories without a legislature). Otherwise IGST is applied.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Invoices are generated in your browser. Business details and saved customers are stored only in this browser.
Does it create e-invoices (IRN)?
No. It creates the PDF invoice. If your turnover requires e-invoicing, you must also register the invoice on the IRP portal.
Is GST Invoice Generator private?
Yes. This tool runs entirely in your web browser. Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
Is there a file size limit?
Without an account you can process files up to 50 MB. Paid plans raise the limits.
